Reservist Couples
Reserve duty is incredibly important and meaningful, providing soldiers and their families with a sense of purpose. However, long periods of separation can create significant stress and challenges. These challenges affect not only the soldier, spouse and children individually, but also the dynamics of the entire family unit and its relationships.
The difficulties don't simply vanish the moment the uniform is put away. They often involve long-term adjustments and changes, compounded by the uncertainty of "the next round" of service looming ahead, sometimes with a set date, and other times without.
This group is a one-time workshop designed to help reserve couples thrive in their roles as parents. It offers practical tools to improve communication and strengthen relationships with children, whether before reserve duty (with or without the opportunity for advance planning), during periods of separation, or after returning home.
Topics include:
The workshop will include guided discussions and hands-on activities aimed at fostering resilience and deeper connections within the family. Participants will gain valuable insights and practical strategies to help right away build and maintain stronger relationships before, during and after reserve service.
The session will take place on March 23rd (Sunday) in the evening between 8:30-10:00 PM, online.
COST: 100 shekels per couple.
