As an expressive arts therapist I help to create a nurturing and safe space where my clients can express, be with and embrace who they are. I believe that everyone has the answers to their own questions and that healing comes from within. I try my best to help my clients access their own healing and truth.
My approach is warm, understanding, non-judgmental, supportive, and collaborative. I offer a wide toolbox of therapeutic approaches and expressive methods to draw upon depending on my clients' needs. Some of these include but are not limited to: tangible art, intuitive writing, breath work, mindfulness, movement, talk, psychodrama, Chassidus, EFT, IFS, and Gratitude.
In sessions my clients discover how to use creative methods to gain insight, release and grow while seeing how the process of art enhances the mental, physical and emotional well being. Through the making of and reflecting upon tangible art, clients experience a deeper way of being seen and understood. No prior art experience is necessary.
I work with individuals and groups from a diverse population of children and adults ages 5-99 with all kinds of backgrounds and needs. Some of the themes I work with include divorce, ADHD, emotional regulation, addictions, emotional eating, social issues, sexual abuse, trauma, relationships, behavioral issues, fears, anxiety, transitions, women issues and creative blocks. Together clients and I works to cultivate the skills they need to uncover their inner strength and power toward self-healing, so that they can live and engage in their lives confidently - in full alignment with who they are and what they wish to achieve. Feel free to email or call me to discuss the possibilities. There is no charge for the initial phone consultation. Home visits are available depending on location as well as Skye sessions.
