Registered Psychologist in Israel Mumche Specialty License in Israel
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and director of Modi'in Behavioral, a private group practice specializing in evidence-based therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure-Based therapies for adolescents, adults, parents, and families. We offer comprehensive individual DBT services, as well as an adult skills group and a multi-family group for adolescent clients.
Before making aliyah, I served as a clinical psychologist and supervisor at Cognitive Behavioral Associates, a group private practice in Great Neck, NY, which is co-directed by Jill Rathus, Ph.D., an internationally recognized expert in both CBT and DBT and certified DBT trainer responsible for co-developing the adolescent adaptation of DBT. In addition to working with individuals and families struggling with more common issues of anxiety, depression, OCD, and relationship problems, my clinical experience includes treating clients considered to be difficult to treat and many who have been assumed to be beyond the pale of help, such as those struggling with extreme emotional distress, complex problems, multiple diagnoses, problems resulting from traumatic incidents, as well as those struggling with suicidality and self-injurious behavior.
I seek to provide compassionate and effective treatment in an inclusive, friendly, and warm environment. I specialize in evidence-based therapeutic approaches designed to assist my clients in leading more skillful and fulfilling lives by constructing interventions that utilize their personal strengths in the therapeutic process. By employing evidence-based approaches that are fine-tuned to the needs, concerns, and strengths of my clientele, it is my goal to help each of my clients experience dramatic improvements in their daily lives as quickly as possible. I truly love what I do, and I am acutely aware of the degree of responsibility that comes when individuals entrust me with their care or the care of a loved one. I look forward to the opportunity of collaborating with you, and I hope that we can develop a relationship that benefits you for years to come.
