The individual work is done in the framework of positive psychotherapy. Clients learn to identify and appreciate their positive virtues and competencies as well as learn the power of positive feelings. This helps clients to be less self-critical, frees them from internal blockages, improves their coping skills, enhances their self-worth and self-confidence and propels them towards substantial and sustainable mental well-being. Issues of anxiety, stress and trauma are also worked through from a strengths perspective.
Couples are taught to view marriage as an experience to be lived rather than a problem to be solved. In an honoring and non-accusing atmosphere couples learn safe and open communication, and encounter various tasks that help them overcome their power struggles and move through phases towards building the secure and enjoyable relationship they deserve. The therapy is structured, includes a 'roadmap' towards getting the relationship that they want, inclusive with appropriate 'operating instructions!'
I have more than 40 years experience. The therapy is goal directed and always done in a pleasant, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Body-Mind PsychotherapyBody-mind psychotherapy is an integrative approach to psychological treatment that draws from both psychotherapeutic and somatic/body-based approaches. It emphasizes the interconnection between physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual aspects of being. This approach seeks to help individuals explore how physical sensations, emotions, thoughts and beliefs influence their behavior and well-being. Through this exploration, individuals can gain insight into how the body and mind interact to create patterns of behavior, and how those patterns can be changed to promote healing and wellness.
Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT)IRT focuses on helping couples identify and address their unconscious patterns of behavior that contribute to conflict and dissatisfaction in the relationship. IRT also emphasizes the importance of forgiveness and validation in healing past wounds and creating a more positive and fulfilling relationship. IRT helps couples develop communication skills and a deeper understanding of each other's needs and feelings.
Through Imago Therapy, couples will be able to explore their communication patterns, discover sources of conflict, and create new ways of connecting with each other that build empathy and understanding. The therapist will also work with the couple to create a vision for their relationship and set realistic goals for how to achieve it. This therapy helps couples to develop better communication, trust, and intimacy, as well as providing hope for the future of their relationship.
