I have worked for close to 30 years with children, teens and young adults, helping them deal with a wide range of issues that effect their lives from school, emotional, social, fear based and familial issues.
I am trained in several disciplines allowing me to develop bespoke interventions for my clients. I am strongly influenced by the Cognitive Behavioral approach (CBT) as well as other similar models like ACT. In addition I use narrative therpay as well as using different mindfulness and focussing technique, alongside Biofeedback and EMDR.
I have developed a 12 session protocol for deaing with anxiety and fears which incorporate polyvagal theory and use combinations of Biofeedback and cognitive therapies. This has porved a great success for many clients.
Over the past 5 years I have incorporated EMDR working with people of all ages suffereing from issues of post trauma and other issues. I also use EMDR to develop emotional and beavioral resources for many of my clients.
I give parental direction (Hadrachat Horim) and frequently do psycho-educational taks in schools.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of psychotherapy that encourages individuals to accept their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment and to use them as tools to help them to make changes in their lives that are consistent with their values. It is based on the idea that by changing the way we think about our inner experiences, we can reduce emotional distress and increase our sense of well-being.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on how one's thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected and can be changed. It is based on the idea that how we think (cognition) and how we feel (emotion) can influence how we behave. CBT helps people identify and challenge distorted thinking and replace it with more balanced thinking, leading to improved mood and behavior. ‘Homework’, usually containing practical writing exercises, is often completed by the client between sessions to reinforce the therapy. Examples of tools that practitioners often use are journaling, challenging beliefs, and mindfulness.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy treatment that was originally designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. It uses a structured approach to address the past events that may be causing current distress, and uses bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, to activate different neural networks in the brain in order to reduce symptoms of trauma. EMDR has been found to be effective for a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
Narrative TherapyNarrative therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on the stories, or narratives, of a person's life in order to help them gain insights into their situation and develop skills to make positive changes. It is based on the idea that people construct their own stories and meanings to make sense of their lives and experiences. It emphasizes the strengths, values, and skills of the person, while also exploring the influences of culture and context on their life. Narrative therapy seeks to empower individuals by helping them to identify and use their inner resources to overcome challenges and create positive change.
