As a registered psychologist with over 30 years of experience, I’ve walked alongside countless children, teens, and young adults helping them navigate through. Whether it’s the echoes of past events or the quiet struggles that others can’t see — the story matters.
In my practice, I draw from powerful, evidence-based therapies like:
ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) – helping you make space for painful thoughts while moving toward what truly matters.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) – uncovering patterns and reshaping the way you think and feel.
Narrative Therapy – rewriting your story so you and not your life events define you!
EMDR – reprocessing traumatic memories to bring lasting relief.
In therapy you learn that you don’t have to carry it alone.
Let’s work together to find hope, resilience, and a new path forward.
Both In-person and online sessions available.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of psychotherapy that encourages individuals to accept their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment and to use them as tools to help them to make changes in their lives that are consistent with their values. It is based on the idea that by changing the way we think about our inner experiences, we can reduce emotional distress and increase our sense of well-being.
BiofeedbackBiofeedback is an evidence-based, mind-body treatment modality that helps individuals gain greater awareness and voluntary control over physiological functions that are typically automatic, such as heart rate, muscle tension, blood pressure, skin temperature, and brainwave activity. Using sensors and monitoring equipment, biofeedback provides real-time information about these bodily processes. With the guidance of a trained professional, individuals learn to recognize and regulate their physiological responses, leading to improved health and emotional regulation. This technique is often used to manage conditions such as anxiety, chronic pain, migraines, high blood pressure, and stress-related disorders.
Body-Mind PsychotherapyBody-mind psychotherapy is an integrative approach to psychological treatment that draws from both psychotherapeutic and somatic/body-based approaches. It emphasizes the interconnection between physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual aspects of being. This approach seeks to help individuals explore how physical sensations, emotions, thoughts and beliefs influence their behavior and well-being. Through this exploration, individuals can gain insight into how the body and mind interact to create patterns of behavior, and how those patterns can be changed to promote healing and wellness.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on how one's thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected and can be changed. It is based on the idea that how we think (cognition) and how we feel (emotion) can influence how we behave. CBT helps people identify and challenge distorted thinking and replace it with more balanced thinking, leading to improved mood and behavior. ‘Homework’, usually containing practical writing exercises, is often completed by the client between sessions to reinforce the therapy. Examples of tools that practitioners often use are journaling, challenging beliefs, and mindfulness.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy treatment that was originally designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. It uses a structured approach to address the past events that may be causing current distress, and uses bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, to activate different neural networks in the brain in order to reduce symptoms of trauma. EMDR has been found to be effective for a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
Guided ImageryGuided imagery is a form of visualization used for relaxation and healing. It uses the power of the imagination to create positive changes in a person's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is also used to reduce stress and anxiety, cope with physical and emotional pain, increase motivation, confidence, and self-esteem, and to improve focus and concentration. During a guided imagery session, the practitioner will guide the client through a series of visualizations, using words and descriptions to help them create mental images in their mind. These visualizations can take many forms, such as a comforting place from the past or the client’s future goals.
Narrative TherapyNarrative therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on the stories, or narratives, of a person's life in order to help them gain insights into their situation and develop skills to make positive changes. It is based on the idea that people construct their own stories and meanings to make sense of their lives and experiences. It emphasizes the strengths, values, and skills of the person, while also exploring the influences of culture and context on their life. Narrative therapy seeks to empower individuals by helping them to identify and use their inner resources to overcome challenges and create positive change.
