Testimonials:
* This group profoundly changed my life. I came into it knowing that I wanted something to change, but I didn't know what that something was or how to go about it.
Furthermore, my understanding of ADD was still very limited and, despite living with symptoms for many years, my diagnosis was still relatively new. The group gave me the impetus to pursue dreams I had put on hold, helping me to remove barriers I had erected myself. It's been almost two years since I participated in the group. When I look back to that first meeting and who I was then, it's almost surreal to see where I stand now. I have a lot of gratitude to Minky for helping me get there.( E.A.G)
* With her group, Minky has created an opportunity for frum women to explore how ADD has, and continues, to impact our lives. I found the sand table particularly fun and useful; I started to see certain patterns emerge. I valued the sense of safety in the group that allowed us to share so freely and validate our struggles. I highly recommend it.(Elisheva Bronstein)
*The support group encouraged internal acceptance, helped me view things in new perspectives, and in general was thought provoking and encouraging.(E.H)
*It was amazing for me to feel understood, and see how I was not alone in my struggles! I felt so supported as we uncovered and normalized the challenges we were all facing. As we explored tools and techniques that could help us, we gained knowledge and information on different modalities of support. This helped me to accept myself, embrace my ADHD as part of me, and cope better!(R.B)
* Being in a small group gave me the opportunity to learn from other people's experiences and be aware that I am not the only one coping with the same challenges. I Felt safe and loved.(Yael)
* "It was so amazing to share with others - to share my struggles and my accomplishments with people who understood me." "I learned to appreciate myself for who I am and use the talents Hashem gave me."
