DESCRIPTION
Bishvil Hahayim is an Israeli non-profit organization, established in 2000 by family members whose loved ones died by suicide and a group of health care professionals, who specialize in the area of suicide and its prevention.
It has two aims: to support the families and to prevent suicides on the national level.
After winning the bid of the Ministry of Welfare since Dec 2017 Bishvil Hahayim supports families of those killed by suicide, homicide and traffic accidents.
It runs 4 support centers in Tel Aviv, Beer Sheva, and Ashkelon. It offers support groups, first aid volunteers, individual and couples and family therapies, and a closed Facebook group for families of suicide loss.
