I am an Existential Psychotherapist, based in Tel Aviv. I work with adults in individual and group settings, online and in-person in Tel Aviv. I offer psychotherapy as a relationship that at its core is a safe harbour, and a space of absolute privacy wherein we can safely explore the concerns and experiences that bring you to therapy.
I offer a free 30 minute consultation on Zoom to discuss your support needs and therapeutic aims. You'll see more below about the themes with which I have significant experience, and if you feel as though my approach resonates with you, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
As an existential therapist, I can help you with looking at your experience of your relationships, your values, any narratives that you hold about yourself, and your broader world. The convergence of your experience of these things often holds vital and change-making information about the difficulties you may be facing.
Sessions with me are a space for honest, reflective dialogue. We will look at how you relate to anxiety, change, loss, and the realities of being human, and how these shape the way you live. Many clients come to me when they feel stuck, disconnected from themselves, or confronted by big questions about purpose, identity, or direction. My approach is human-hearted and collaborative, but I am not averse to challenge when it feels appropriate and necessary.
I spent several years working on London's Harley Street in addiction treatment, and in the London charity sector specialising in domestic abuse alongside my private practice. Though I work with a broad range of presenting issues, below are themes that I have significant experience and knowledge in working with:
Since my approach is grounded in existential and phenomenological principles, I always aim to understand your world as you live it, without imposing rigid theories or quick fixes. My philosophical framework doesn't seek to medicalise or over-pathologise what may be bringing you into therapy. I focus on how you experience your life rather than just on symptoms or diagnoses.
Together, we explore the meanings you give to your experiences, the choices available to you, and how you relate to your own sense of freedom, responsibility, and uncertainty. I also encourage my clients to examine the narratives that they hold about themselves and the world, to understand if they are constructed or inherited, and therefore whether they are empowering or limiting.
I currently work primarily online but see clients in person in Tel Aviv. I also facilitate online psychotherapy groups, so please let me know if you are curious about working in a group. I am a passionate advocate for the efficacy of working therapeutically in groups and would be delighted to welcome new clients into the groups that I have facilitated for many years.

Existential PsychotherapyExistential psychotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that emphasizes an individual’s subjective experience of existence. It is a philosophical approach to psychotherapy that views the individual as ultimately responsible for creating a meaningful life. This form of psychotherapy helps individuals explore their subjective experiences, understand their personal values and beliefs, find ways to live more authentically, and make meaningful choices. The ultimate goal is to help the individual reach a greater sense of self-awareness and personal fulfillment.
Psychodynamic TherapyPsychodynamic therapy is a form of therapy that focuses on the unconscious mind and how it affects behavior. It works to help people understand and work through past experiences and feelings that may be causing difficulties in the present. This type of therapy encourages individuals to explore their emotions, relationships, and behaviors in order to gain insight into their current difficulties. It can help individuals better understand themselves and their motivations, and gain insight into how past events have impacted their current lives. People tend to develop defense mechanisms when faced with challenges in life. Defense mechanisms may keep painful feelings, memories, and experiences in the unconscious. A few common defense mechanisms include: denial, repression, and rationalization. Psychodynamic therapists encourage people to speak freely about their emotions, desires, and fears. Being open may help uncover vulnerable feelings that have been pushed out of conscious awareness. According to psychodynamic theory, behavior is influenced by unconscious thought. Once painful feelings are brought forth and processed, the defense mechanisms are no longer needed and a person in treatment can start changing unhelpful patterns when coping with life’s challenges.
Relational PsychotherapyRelational psychotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on a person’s relationships with others and the dynamics between them. It emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist, and it explores the meaning and purpose of relationships in the client’s life. Relational psychotherapy seeks to understand how the client’s past relationships shape their current experiences and how the client interacts with others. The goal is to help the person develop healthier relationships and better communication skills so they can become more emotionally connected to others.
