I am a US-trained art therapist originally from New Jersey, and I have been living in Tel Aviv for almost a decade. I offer individual and group art therapy to adults, adolescents, and children in central Israel in both English and Hebrew.
My professional experience has been focused on treating individuals, (primarily adolescents and women) who struggle with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, histories of trauma and abuse, adjustment disorders, gender dysphoria, and addiction. I also have extensive experience working with children and families, including children with learning and developmental disabilities, and I offer hadrachat horim (parental guidance) in conjunction to art therapy with children and teens.
By introducing art-making into the psychotherapy setting, I help guide my clients toward discovering a deeper awareness of themselves that words can be limited in accessing. My approach is heavily influenced by Mindfulness-Based Art Therapy (MBAT), a method that relies on the art-making process as a way to cope with strong and overwhelming emotions and reduce anxiety. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the crux of therapy that creates strong foundation upon which progress can be made, and I look foward to hearing from you.
