Course Overview
The psychedelic renaissance is in full swing. Between media coverage, trainings and retreats, and a growing wave of recreational and clinical exploration, psychedelics have moved firmly into the cultural mainstream and into your clinical practice, whether you've addressed it directly yet or not.
Many of your clients and people in your life are already exploring psychedelics, and leading voices in the psychotherapy field are increasingly weighing in. This 2-hour webinar gives you the fundamental grounding to engage with this shift knowledgeably.
Participants will leave with:
- A working understanding of the psychedelics most commonly used in therapeutic and recreational settings today, including their mechanisms of action and potential effects
- Key risk factors and harm-reduction best practices, so you can offer basic guidance and safety considerations to clients who are already experimenting with psychedelics
- An overview of the legal psychedelic therapy frameworks currently available in Israel, and how they may be relevant to the people you support
This is not a training in how to conduct psychedelic-assisted therapy. It's a primer that will give you a foundation to understand what your clients are exploring and how to best support them in finding the safest and most helpful options available to them.
