As a clinical social worker for over 25 years, I have helped adolescents and adults to live happier, more authentic and self-confident, fulfilling and connected lives.
My specialties include treating individuals dealing with life challenges, emotional blocks, and transitions, as well those who are in crisis. I have also had much success treating people who are struggling with disordered eating and those suffering from depression and anxiety.
My approach to helping people to heal, develop, and move forward in their lives is primarily psychodynamic. This method focuses on assisting each person to identify and better understand his or her current patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior, and the ways in which these developed from various early childhood relationships and experiences. Through our work together, the influence of past patterns on the present are recognized and released and you will then feel freer to act and live in the present; both in your relationship with yourself and with others.
Please feel free to call me to discuss your concerns.
