My goal as a School Psychologist is to help parents and schools to better understand how to help their child. Through my learning and experiences, I have created a program that allows for building and strengthening of the relationship with the child, whether in school or at home. I believe that through שיח רגשי , patience, empathy and consistency, every child and or parent can be encouraged to make positive changes in their everyday life in order to better the reality.
In addition to my private practice, I also work in the public sector as a school psychologist in elementary schools and ganim. As a School Psychologist, my areas of expertise are: 1. Psycho-educational Assessment - identifying learning disabilities, learning difficulties, and emotional difficulties affecting their ability to learn. 2. Therapy for school aged children suffering from Selective Mutism - Using an integrative approach (Dr. Ruth Perednik) that includes Cognitive Behavioral methods beginning in the most secure setting for that child. 3. Parental guidance - specializing in boundary setting, emotional challenges, the weaning process (diapers), children suffering from fears and anxiety, children with learning difficulties, ADHD, and behavioral issues.
