Ta’ir Wasserman MFCMental Health Counselor, Sex Therapist
The decision to take your life in your own hands, improve the quality of your life, and enhance your daily routine is an important step. Therapy can help you work out problems, enrich your life, and bring you inner happiness and fulfillment.
My name is Ta’ir Wasserman and I am an Individual, Couples and Sex Therapist and I enjoy working with individuals, teens and adults, families, and couples that are dating, just married, or further along the marital road. As a sex therapist who feels strongly that marital intimacy is integral to a strong and healthy relationship, I can give attention to intimate aspects of your relationship. Some problems evolve specifically from issues of intimacy. We will address these issues and learn more about your relationship through them. I base my work on EFT (Emotional Focused Therapy), Imago, IFS (Internal Family Systems), the Strengths Based Approach (by Justin Resnick) and teachings of Chaim Ginnot and John Gottman.
I grew up in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where I studied psychology at the “Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam”. I trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Sex Therapist at the Yanar Institute (a division of the Bar Ilan University). I am a member of the Israeli Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and part of the staff of therapists at the “Shalom Bayit Project” of the outreach organization Hidabrut. Dr Justin Resnick PhD is my supervisor. As an orthodox Jewish woman, I am open to all streams and colors of mankind, and I am familiar in the philosophy (hashkafa) and Jewish Law Requirements (halacha) of religious Judaism.
I invite you to make an appointment today and take that first step towards a more meaningful, fulfilling, and happy life.
