About the Therapist

My practice focuses primarily on helping adolescents and adults work through trauma, manage anxiety, and navigate significant life and developmental transitions.

My therapeutic work is grounded in CBT and psychodynamic-informed psychotherapy, alongside training and clinical experience in EMDR and third-wave approaches such as ACT and DBT. I adapt my approach according to your needs and circumstances.

My Approach to Helping

I see therapy as a collaborative process that begins with understanding your particular circumstances, experiences, and goals. The therapeutic work combines attention to your present-day concerns with an interest in understanding how past experiences continue to shape your current feelings, relationships, and ways of coping. The therapeutic relationship provides an opportunity to explore these patterns, develop a deeper understanding of yourself, and work towards new ways of responding to difficulties. Alongside this exploration, we focus on practical ways to manage distress and make changes that feel meaningful in your daily life.

Specific Issues I'm Skilled at Helping With

Individual Therapy

I work with individuals who may feel overwhelmed by persistent worry, mood regulation difficulties, emotional distress, or difficulties in their relationships. I also work with those who are struggling with the lasting effects of painful or traumatic experiences, or finding their footing through periods of significant change. These difficulties can affect how we see ourselves, connect with others, and manage the demands of everyday life, sometimes leaving us feeling stuck in patterns that are difficult to shift.

Working with Parents

I work with parents to better understand their children's emotional and behavioral needs and find ways to support them. This includes exploring what happens in challenging situations, how parents respond, and what might help things feel different at home.

Parenthood can also bring up experiences and expectations of our own. At times, the way we respond to our children is shaped by our upbringing, past experiences, and the hopes we have for our family. Making sense of these influences can help parents better understand themselves and their children, recognize patterns they may want to change, and build on what they want to carry forward into their own families.

Additional Information About my Practice

My own experience serving in the IDF reserves informs my understanding of the challenges facing soldiers and reservists, both during service and when transitioning back to civilian life. I work with individuals to process their experiences and navigate the emotional and practical challenges that can arise from their military service. Time away from work and family, the demands of ongoing service, and the process of readjusting can affect a person's sense of self, relationships, and day-to-day life.
