DESCRIPTION

Cancer challenges people differently, depending on culture, family situation, individual background and stage of the illness.
In the battle for good health, emotional issues are tantamount in importance to the physical ones.
Beit Natan’s Support Groups enable cancer patients and their families to move from a state of emotional torpor and fear to one of determination and hope.
Each Support Group series consists of 10 sessions led by a social worker or professional therapist.
Groups are small, and provide support to individuals at different stages of the disease, from diagnosis through treatment.
Participants often maintain their relationships, staying in touch and helping each other long after the formal program ends.

*Although groups are currently in Hebrew, Beit Natan is looking to start groups in English and welcomes your inquiries and referrals.
